Social media has been the driving force behind several cultural movements within the past decade or so, but few of them have had a sweeping impact like the #MeToo movement.
From entertainment to the tech industry and beyond, people have come forward to share their harrowing stories in hopes it will lead to a paradigm shift when it comes to the way we deal with sexual harassment and misconduct in our society. Explain Like I’m Five is presented by the Commonwealth Club, the nation’s oldest and largest public affairs forum, intent on finding truth and turning it loose in the world.
