Cumulus San Francisco Digital Department is seeking a Digital Content Intern to assist with website and social media content initiatives for KFOG Radio! Main responsibilities include writing and posting daily web content related to relevant music news and other happenings at KFOG, as determined by the shows and upcoming events.
This opportunity is for college credit only.
Duties MAY also include creating copy for the website and social media platforms, attending and reviewing live performances, reviewing albums, and more. Having an understanding of digital content and music news is a plus! Interns will develop experience in writing, editing, and content branding and experience the added opportunity of accessing local shows and other Bay Area music events.
All training will be for the benefit of the trainees/interns and will not displace regular employees, but work under close observation. The Cumulus San Francisco Digital Department will derive no immediate advantage from the activities of interns and, on occasion, the employer’s operations may be impeded while training interns. Interns are not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship and are not entitled to wages for the time spent in training.
Interns will have a flexible work schedule and are expected to work 60 hours per month.
