Dave Chappelle first collaborated with John Mayer for the barbershop skit on Season 2 of The Chappelle Show in 2004 (check how young they look). This week it was announced that the unlikely duo (reportedly good friends) is back to perform two nights The Fillmore in San Francisco for the “comedy & music hybrid”Controlled Danger.
Unsurprisingly, the show sold out within minutes.

The Fillmore touts, “You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll have bragging rights amongst your friend group for weeks to come.” With a strict no cell phone policy, you might have to convince them it actually happened first.
Their fused performance will take place Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th.
John Mayer will be playing Shoreline Amphitheatre on June 3-4 next.
