Foo Fighters: enough said! As hit after hit from the extensive catalog was played, BottleRockers couldn’t help but sway back and forth and be captivated by the band’s nonstop energy – especially Dave, who ran around from side to side of the stage, never missing a beat! “Everlong” might have been cut short, however, it was really rather an epic Soprano-esqe ending to a great weekend! – Mari Galaviz
Con Brio is one Bay Area band you won’t want to sleep on. Live, they’re all about starting the set with as much energy as possible and keeping it there throughout the show. But lead singer Ziek McCarter even managed to get people out of their chairs at the smaller Jam Cellars stage playing acoustically, which speaks to the music they’re playing (off their latest album Paradise). I’m already dying to see them again. – Lauren Riley
The person I was most excited to see BottleRock weekend was Charles Bradley, and he did not disappoint. The now 68-year-old crooner sang with complete soul and passion, as only a man who has gone through what he has gone through could sing. Already dying- Sanam Alavizadeh
I don’t know of any other festival that offers something quite like the Culinary Stage at BottleRock, and I definitely don’t know another festival where you can see (surprise guest) Steph Curry dance to Ayesha Curry rapping while E-40 beatboxes, everyone sipping Moscato and having as good of a time, if not better, as the audience. This epic collision of Bay Area food, sports, music (oh, and television…did I forget to mention Tamara Mowry dropped by?) was a definite highlight of the weekend, and possibly my year. – Lauren Riley
