Over the weekend, Fleet Foxes helped make one lucky couple’s engagement a truly unforgettable night— in front of thousands of people!
The Seattle-native indie rock band headlined Latitude Festival in Suffolk on Sunday night and invited two very special guests onstage. To the delight of the audience and the band, a man named Jack proposed to his girlfriend Molly on the main stage, and she said yes! (Through teary eyes, of course!)

Molly’s mother identified the happy couple on Twitter, praising her “lovely” future son-in-law and thanking Fleet Foxes for making the occasion so special for her daughter. The elated reaction from the audience has been echoed in the hours since by fans all over the world on Twitter.

Fleet Foxes is currently on tour following the June release of Crack-Up, their third studio album and first new release in six years. Be sure to catch them on the main stage at San Francisco’s Outside Lands on Friday, August 11– who knows? Maybe we’ll see another engagement, this time on our side of the pond!
