If it’s Tuesday, it’s time for Alicia and I to roundup up the best releases on DVD and Netflix this week! Alicia starts off with a surprisingly “strong” lineup of DVD releases including The Mummy, which she thinks Dana Hahn-Klein of the Mohawk Movie review was a bit too hard on when reviewing it. Also available on DVD this week, the dark comedy Beatriz At Dinner starring Salma Hayak, and the horror flick It Comes at Night, which I honestly still get terrifying visions of months after seeing.
Over on Netflix hacky ventriloquist Jeff Dunham has a new comedy special out which I highly recommend watching if you hate the art of comedy and want to be mildly annoyed for 70 minutes. On the music side The Foo Fighters bring their 2011 band documentary Back and Forth to Netflix. And the release of American Vandal Season 1 opens the door to a whole new genre: satirical crime documentary (?).
Of course as always the best parts of the podcast have nothing to do with new releases so listen in to find out what world famous comedian is an absolute creep! All that and more on this week’s New Release Roundup.
