Arthur chats with local neXt2rock finalist Jed’s A Millionaire

Mornings on KFOG host Arthur chats with local neXt2rock finalist Jed’s A Millionaire.  With each member currently located in a different city (San Jose, San Diego, Los Angeles and Phoenix), the band’s nontraditional approach relies heavily on “the beauty of modern technology…and doing our homework” adds bass guitarist Jaimie King.

What’s the sound? “Straight up rock and roll, with a little bit of an alternative edge,” says King. Drawing from legends like The Police, early David Bowie and Tom Petty, the band’s modern yet classic sound drives a energetic stage presence for rhythmic melodies of passion, heartbreak and hope. After recently releasing a five-song EP, the neXt2rock competition appealed to JAM necause the band is “confident that the songs speak for themselves, and deserve a chance to be heard” King notes.

Jed’s A Millionaire is currently writing new songs slated for release in 2018. The neXt2rock local finalist will be announced on November 21st, and the top five nationally voted best bands will take the stage on December 12th at the iconic Viper Room in Los Angeles. The winner will receive a deal with Big Machine/John Varvatos Records and radio airplay..and be named neXt2rock.
