What does it mean to be a bitter Buddha?

Legendary comic Eddie Pepitone, dubbed “The Bitter Buddha” in the 2012 documentary about his career, stopped by the show this morning to chat with Alicia and I about exactly what makes him so bitter. Despite all the pretense around his bitterness, he is actually one of the most fun comics we’ve been around.

If you don’t recognize Eddie’s name, you have definitely seen his work. Eddie has been in everything from the Will Ferrell classic Old School, to Law and Order, to Inside Amy Schumer. He is currently starring in Adult Swim’s Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell while continuing to tour around the country performing stand-up.
