The 49ers are continuing their outreach efforts to help those affected by the fires that ravaged Butte County. Ahead of the team’s matchup with the visiting New York Giants Monday Night, the 49ers provided tickets and buses to the Paradise High School football team to attend the game, according to KRCR news. Last week, the team had to forfeit its playoff game.

49ers strength and conditioning coach Shane Wallen, who grew up in Paradise, has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for relief. Nearly $19,000 has been raised, as of Monday afternoon, which is well on track to reach its $50,000 goal.

Several 49ers players have tweeted their support for Wallen and those affected by the fires. Inviting the Paradise High School football team to Monday Night Football is one of several ways the 49ers have stepped in to help.

The 49ers have also named the North Valley Community Foundation the recipient of proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle in Monday’s game. The 49ers will match the amount of money raised by fans and distribute it toward the cause.
