The post-Thanksgiving week gets off to a slow start when it comes to live music, but towards the end of the week there are a number of shows that having a little something for everyone and are definitely worth checking out.
Punk legends and Berkeley natives Rancid bring their high energy stage show to the Regency Ballroom on Thursday night.
International sensation, psychedelic singer-songwriter, and one person band Tash Sultana rolls through the Fox for a pair of sold out shows on Thursday and Friday (tickets are available via resale sites, however).
Walnut Creek native and now L.A. based indie-rock rising star Jay Som returns to the Bay for the debut of her collaboration project with singer-songwriter Justus Proffit at the Starline Social Club.
And the week rounds out with indie/dream-pop act, and frequent collaborator of The 1975, The Japanese House (a.k.a Amber Bain) who brings her sonic wizardry to the Great American Music Hall.
