Shake Shack touched down the Bay Area for the first time.

The New York City-based burger chain shacked up in Palo Alto at the Stanford Shopping Center. Opening day was held on Saturday.

The menu includes flat-top hot dogs, frozen custard, beer, wine, breakfast sandwiches, and even dog treats in addition to burgers, shakes, and crinkle-cut fries.

Exclusive to the Bay Area, ther will be the Golden Gate Double burger with two patties, white cheddar cheese, and smoked garlic mayonnaise with sweet potato buns.

The Shake Shack in Palo Alto is located at 180 El Camino Real, Suite No. 950, open from 11 am to 10 pm Sunday to Thursday and 11 am until 11 pm Friday and Saturday.
