Still feeling a bit of the post-holiday lull in the Bay Area when it comes to shows, but there are definitely still several must-see concerts including Toro Y Moi’s 3-night Bay Area residency (Monday to Wednesday) at two different venues in the lead up to the release of his latest album Outer Space coming out on January 18.  Brooklyn based Indie/psychedelic rockers The Undercover Dream Lovers bring their act to Cafe Du Nord on Thursday night, while electro-funk favorites Chromeo play 1015 Folsom  Thursday night. And the week wraps up with a special benefit show for victims of the Camp Fire put on by Burger Records, the good people behind the annual Oakland music festival Burger Boogaloo, with a lineup featuring Oakland-based Shannon Shaw of Shannon and the Clams.
