Vampire Weekend releases new video for “Harmony Hall”

Vampire Weekend is back in full effect with a new video to go along with their first new music in over six years.

The video for “Harmony Hall” features lead singer Ezra Koenig cooking a breakfast of eggs and Spirograph inspired pancakes, while the rest of the band jumps and spins in circles, with a few shots mixed in of the band playing by candle light. Also making appearances in the video are a green tree snake, and of course Jonah Hill…because he’s in everything.

“Harmony Hall” was the first of two singles released by the band in January off of their upcoming album Father of the Bride. While no release date has been set, the band revealed  they will be dropping two songs a month until it is released, so it can’t be too far out.

Check out the video below and catch Vampire weekend on tour this fall when they come to the Bill Graham Civic in San Francisco October 1st.
