KFOG Studio Session: The Glorious Sons

KFOG Studio Sessions are presented by Marin General Hospital, proudly delivering exceptional care in a healing environment.

Undulating between energetic rock anthems to quiet moments of introspection the five-part Candian rock band, The Glorious Sons, at it’s core, consists of brothers Brett Emmons (singer) and Jay Emmons (guitar).

Collectively working dead-end jobs, from greens keeper at a golf course to janitors at the Emmons’ family garage, the band finally took off when Brett quit school to front the group. They would then put out an EP and two full-length albums which would contain a dynamic set of songs that would award them eight consecutive top-10 rock radio hits in Canada.

The band has toured intensely of their two albums since 2013 and have since their last album, Young Beauties & Fools, put out two live albums.

Of course this begs the question: “What’s next?”

Well according to front-man Brett Emmons, they’re “very prepared” and “allegedly” have new music on the way. If No Name’s translation holds weight then you can expect new music from the group very soon.

The Glorious Suns played their songs for a KFOG Studio Session where they played for a few lucky KFOG radio listeners. KFOG Studio Sessions are exclusive live music events for KFOG radio listeners; the only way in is to win tickets!

Listen to KFOG on-air and follow @KFOGRadio on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for your chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Winners get to see an intimate live set, and meet the musicians after the show.
