The iconic Bixby Bridge featured prominently in the opening credits of Big Little Lies is attracting many, many fans from all over the world.

The show first premiered two years ago and saw a spike in tourism, but then quieted down after a while. Now, with the release of the second season, attendance is rising again with people flocking to see the Bixby Bridge.

The bridge is actually 20 miles south of Monterey, but that hasn’t stopped visitors. Paluca Trattoria, a restaurant in the show with an outdoor patio, is also seeing lots of tourists as well.

If you’re a local fan of Big Little Lies, it may be worth it to take a Saturday or Sunday drive to Monterey. Just expect it to be a bit more crowded than normal.
