What could possibly make one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood decide to test the uncharted and often unfriendly waters of stand-up?
Actor turned stand-up comic, Jeremy Piven called in for a chat with Arthur to discuss his career change and what he has done to prepare for this new endeavor.
Don’t get me wrong, Jeremy is still very much acting and in fact has two movies coming out later this year, but his new focus has been making a name for himself as a stand-up comic.
Piven talks candidly about his career leading up to this point, the influence of his iconic character Ari Gold from Entourage, and the countless questions from friends about why he would take such the leap into the world of stand-up, while many of his peers are comfortable in a state of semi-retirement.
Piven has taken his show on the road performing at clubs and theaters across the country night in and night out and this Friday he’ll perform a new hour of stand-up at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
Listen to the full interview below and make sure you catch Jeremy this Friday August 2nd at the Palace of Fine Arts!
