“Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” beat out the latest MARK WAHLBERG movie “Deepwater Horizon”. “Miss Peregrine” took in $28.5 million in its opening weekend, while the Marky Mark disaster movie debuted with $20.6 million. The new comedy “Masterminds” only made it to 6th place, with $6.6 million.
