So, I’m not convinced that this is for real, but a former CEO of Paramount pictures is claiming that Angelina Jolie was so “fragile” during the filming of Tomb Raider in 2001 that she was forced to take random drug tests. 

Allegedly her father, Jon Voight, and family friend Jane Fonda were the ones that encouraged the producers to drug test her in the first place.

My doubt comes from the fact that I remember Jon Voight playing her dad in the movie, and having a great relationship publicly with her then. It wasn’t until later that she was with Billy Bob Thornton (wearing blood vials and what not) that she got very upset with her dad for telling the press that he was worried about her.  This was a big deal for Angelina because it happened around the time she was adopting her first son, Maddox.  Angie did stop talking to her dad for a long time after that.

So who knows? Maybe the Billy Bob comment was actually the final straw for Angie, and not the first time the father-daughter pair couldn’t see eye to eye.
