Julia Roberts has made history!
People named the 49-year-old mother of three the Most Beautiful Woman in the World for the 5th time in its May 1 issue. Nobody else has come close to her streak. Her longtime friend George Clooney has won twice (deservedly so)!
I think it’s awesome; especially because that means the honor is not exclusive to really young starlets.
But I am surprised that some of the other winners haven’t been considered more, like Michelle Pfeiffer (1990, 1999), Cindy Crawford (1993), Catherine Zeta-Jones (2001), Halle Berry (2003), Angelina Jolie (2006), or Beyoncé (2012), just to name a few. Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Mandy Moore, Emma Watson, Oprah Winfrey are also featured in this year’s issue.
Roberts was just 23 years old when she first won in 1991. She then graced the Most Beautiful issue’s covers in 2000, 2005 and 2010.
