Arthur’s: K.Flay – “High Enough”

My pick this week is “High Enough”, the new single from the multi-talented K.Flay.  K.Flay’s career has taken numerous twists and turns, which may explain why she is just popping up on people’s radar. She began her musical journey in 2003 while double-majoring in psychology and sociology at Stanford, by performing her self-produced hip hop songs at local venues. She spent several years releasing music, and sharpening her sound, which can be described as a blend of lo-fi pop, indie, with a twist of hip hop. She has recently toured with the likes of Third Eye Blind, Dashboard Confessional, and Imagine Dragons during the run up to her new album “Everywhere Is Some Where”.
