The product everyone loves to hate is making a comeback. Glass 2.0, the newer version of the eyewear, will focus on enterprise and industry applications, including healthcare, factory work, and more.
This in an effort to separate the eyewear from the backlash received with the commercial launch. Allowing wearers to film anything by blinking twice, for example, earned them the lovely nickname “glassholes” (the new Glass will address the issue by turning on a red light that indicates recording).
Retailing around $1300-$1500, it makes sense that the Glass is shifting from private use to industrial.
