It’s the 17th anniversary in 2017: Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is this weekend! I’ll reach into the KFOG Archives and deep into the Acoustic Sunrise library for songs by many of this year’s performers, including two who have played every single festival: Emmylou Harris and Steve Earle. Local faves too, like Chuck Prophet and the Brothers Comatose, an after-party song by Ozomatli for all those spin-off shows at various venues, and some of the magnificent Women of HSB: Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, Brandi Carlile, Alison Brown, and the Secret Sisters.
