This week on Beer for Breakfast Alicia and I were joined by Chris, the Brewmaster at East Brother Beer Company, who takes us on a tasting tour of the Red Lager, Bo Pilsner, and Red IPA. Alicia and I are notorious for our apprehension towards IPAs, so we were both pleasantly surprised at how this one.

East Brother Beer Company prides themselves on taking craft brewing back to the basics at a time when newer breweries oftentimes over-complicate their process. Chris takes an old-school approach to brewing, preferring craft beers that are distinctive, approachable, and don’t taste like fancy bubbling Christmas tree water.
