Sunday evening, a big, bad “super blood wolf moon” is taking center stage in the sky.
The natural phenomenon will take place from 6:36 to 9:31 PM. So what is it exactly? The super blood wolf moon is the lunar eclipse that takes place every first full moon of the year. The “super” part of the name implies that the moon will be relatively close to the Earth at this time. The “blood” – obviously – refers to the reddish color. The “wolf” part might refer to the time of year the wolves are mating, in January and February.
