Tim Burton’s live-action spin on the Disney classic Dumbo hits theaters March 29th. Bring a box of tissues and someone to hug; it’s going to be a tear-jerker.
The movie will feature music from Arcade Fire, a beautiful and modern cover of “Baby Mine” that will be played during the end credits. They recently released a snippet of the song, which features Win Butler’s mom, brother, son, wife and bandmate Regine Chassagne, as well as the rest of the Arcade Fire family.
Chassagne remarked, “It’s a story we need to tell again. A lot has changed since 1941, and we are still on that quest to allow for all people to accept and celebrate who they are on this planet.”
Now we’re curious which band will take up the responsibility of covering the nightmare-inducing “Pink Elephants on Parade”. We’re totally fine if they leave that scene out of the movie entirely, to be honest.
