The music gods have smiled upon us today.

This morning, The Black Keys gifted us with a brand new song called ‘Lo/Hi’; a buzzy, electric track that’s reminiscent of their earlier days. It’s been five years since their last album, Turn Blue, was released and we’ve missed Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney dearly. ‘Lo/Hi’ is certainly refreshing. Like taking a sip from an ice cold glass of sweaty rock ‘n roll after trudging through the wilderness all day.

You get the idea.

With raging guitar riffs and powerful backup vocals, The Black Keys deliver and we want more. Is there a possible album in the works due out later this year? Perhaps. Fingers crossed. It’s still pretty early into 2019, and so far, we’re off to a great start.

We’ll just have to listen to ‘Lo/Hi’ on repeat until then.
