Tomorrow, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will join the handful of artists that have had the opportunity to perform at the Pyramids of Giza.
“The pyramids, it’s unbelievable, we just jumped at the opportunity,” bassist Flea gushed in a statement. He went on to say that his “heart is abuzz with joy… I’m so grateful and humbled for the impending experience.” The band is currently working on their follow-up to 2016’s The Getaway, and who knows? Maybe they’ll play some brand new songs tomorrow. What better place to debut some new material than at the Pyramids?
You can stream the concert from the band’s YouTube page, Twitter, and Facebook at 11am PT.
