Will Smith will be tackling the role of the Genie in the Aladdin remake, which is set to hit theaters this Friday.

For the soundtrack, Smith recorded two different takes of the iconic song ‘Friend Like Me’. One sticks a little more closely to the original while the other is more rap-heavy and features DJ Khaled. It is listed as a special ‘End Title’ edition.

Of the ‘End Title’ version, Smith said in a press release, “I went into the studio the first day and really wanted to play with it to see if I could add something to it. Literally 30 minutes in the studio, I started to play with the song and the 94/96 BPM range. That BPM range is right old school hip hop.”

Check out both versions of ‘Friend Like Me’ below and catch Aladdin in theaters starting May 24th.
