Best Spots In The Bay To Watch Fireworks On Fourth Of July

July 4th is fast approaching and if you’re looking for a cool spot in the Bay Area to catch some fireworks but don’t know where to go, here’s a short list that can help you out.

 

San Francisco

Coit Tower

Make the hike up to Coit Tower early and secure a spot to see some amazing fireworks around the Bay!

 

Treasure Island

Treasure Island gets packed on 4th of July, but it’s so worth it. Leave early and pack a picnic for the fam while waiting for the fireworks to start!

 

Bernal Heights Park

It’s a bit of a trek, but a fun spot to hang out with locals to watch some fireworks shows around the Bay. You won’t be extremely close, but it’s great if you have kids or pets, as the noise is more muffled.

 

Angel Island

This viewing requires a ticket purchase and includes a ferry ticket and live music Bundle up and enjoy the show!

 

 

East Bay

USS Hornet 

Activities will be happening all day on the Hornet and you’ll be able to view fireworks from the flight deck. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for kids.

 

Bay Farm Island

Grab a seat at the ferry terminal in Alameda for the perfect view of fireworks from the SF skyline. Hopefully the sky is nice and clear!

 

 

South Bay/Peninsula

Shoreline Amphitheater 

Hang out under the stars and watch fireworks set to music, including the score from Star Wars. You won’t want to miss this event!

 

Foster City

Known as the best fireworks display on the peninsula, this is the spot to be. Get there earlier to guarantee a close-up view of the show. Event runs all day from 9 am – 9:45 pm.
