Watch: Dave Grohl Sings ‘My Hero’ To Doctor That Treated His Broken Leg, Brings Him Onstage

You probably remember when Dave Grohl broke his leg in 2015 after falling off a stage.

The doctor who helped Grohl heal, Johan Sampson, was recently in the crowd for the Foo Fighters’ set at Lollapalooza Stockholm and, upon spotting him, Grohl dedicated “My Hero” to the physician.

Grohl got the whole crowd involved after yelling, “There he is! Sing it to him!”

Sampson even crowdsurfed up to the stage to join Grohl for a bit.
