For a lot of us, just the idea of getting up off the couch to go for a run is draining.

So the task of planing out a crazy route to make elaborate designs while out for a run is on a whole different level.

For one San Francisco man, however, making beautiful works of art while running is a way of life. Lenny Maughan has made 53 different designs so far, including a pig, a whale, a man running (of course) and many more.

He uses the app Strava and Relive to track his progress and has even run up to 29 miles in one session perfecting his art.
