A whiskey so rare that only two bottles exist will have one of those bottles auctioned off July 30th.
A bottle of Cassidy and Company Monasterevan Irish Whiskey from the 1800s will be the star of items auctioned from the Clermont Pub in Blackrock, Ireland. The unopened whiskey is still in its own hand-blown bottle and is expected to bring in at least $13,000.
The 130-year-old whiskey comes the Cassidy family of whiskey makers, who produced the booze from 1784 until 1921 before closing.
So, where is the other bottle of whiskey? Housed as a piece of Irish history in Ireland’s Whiskey Museum.
Cheers!
